Practical Social Engineering: Stories From The Field
Feedback form is now closed.
Social engineering for fieldwork can seem like a distant or daunting tasks for new consultants, doubly so for those that have not performed it.  As someone who performs and leads teams in social engineering (email, phone and physical) on a monthly basis I get asked questions frequently by internal employees and consultants alike regarding the caveats of this type of security consulting exercise.

This presentation will discuss: common tactics of social engineering and stories from the field.  Attendees will learn before the end of the talk: what practical social engineering looks like and how to adapt to unexpected situations.  Together we will discuss how certain tactics/ploys can be planned for and how some can present themselves spontaneously (and how to appropriately adapt to this).  This talk will be filled with multiple entertaining and informative social engineering war stories from the field!

Please note: photography and/or video for this presentation is limited to SPECIFIC slides.  Attendees that do not abide to the presenters wishes will be removed from the presentation.
